Each
summer, Each
week counselors are responsible for a cabin of 6 to 8 campers, often having
the help of a high school service counselor or volunteer counselor. Campers
vary in ages from kindergarten to high school seniors. Counselors lead Bible
studies, large group games, and afternoon recreation activities. They help
with worship, skits, and crafts. Other duties vary depending on the week of
camp and age group. Counselors give countless hugs and share smiles and
tears. They are role models for campers and often develop life-long
friendships! Qualifications
for becoming a Lake View Camp Counselor: v
Completed
first year of college or at least one year out of high school v
A
strong love for God and a willingness to share this love with others v
Desire
to spend a summer making a difference v
Willing
to seek answers for the tough questions in life and ask for help when needed v
Team
player v
A
