Parents,

We know it can be difficult to let your kids leave home for several days to go to camp, but it’s an experience they’ll never forget. Many children go to camp, and statistics show that many find Jesus as their personal savior while attending camp. Would you really want to pass up an opportunity like this for your children? They’ll be staying in cabins with one or two counselors along with several other kids their own age. Camp gives kids a chance to bond with others their own age and learn about God in small settings as well as in the overall large setting.

Who goes to camp? Children of all ages, teens, grandparents, adult volunteers.

What is camp all about? Camp is an opportunity for people to come together and keep busy doing many activities like swimming, canoeing, crafting, developing friendships, and all this is done while focusing on God and worshipping Him.

Why is camp important? It places kids among their peers and helps them build relationships with others who love God as much as they do. It’s a comfortable environment that teaches them in a fun way why God needs to be number one in their lives.

Where is camp located? For now, we lease the following camps: Camp Quaker Heights, Camp Pine Lake, and Pine Lake Christian Camps in Eldora; Central College in Pella; Willowbrook Bible Camp in Des Moines; and Forest Lake Baptist Camp in Ottumwa. We are in the process of planning for our own camp outside of Pella where some day all our camps will be held.

When is camp? There are several camps to choose from starting at the beginning of June and going through the beginning of August. Our brochure and registration form has more information.

How can I learn more about camp? Feel free to browse the rest of this site for more information or contact us by phone or e-mail with any questions you might have.

Your kids will have an unbelievable experience and thank you for it. Consider it a learning, a growing, and a fun experience for them!
