Get ready for some EXTREME fun! CELEBRATATION! 2011 marked our 10th year of ministry and we had another record year with 1,057 campers and we have many reasons to celebrate! God has blessed this ministry with wonderful volunteers who give of their time and resources, Christ-centered young men and women who choose to spend a summer at camp teaching and showing others God’s life-changing love, hundreds of campers who come to camp with energy and open hearts, and people who believe in this growing ministry and support the ministry with their gifts and prayers. It has been an amazing 10 years and we look forward to the next 10 years and seeing how God uses Lake View to further His Kingdom! FUTURE DEVELOPMENT Because of growing numbers every year, we will soon outgrow the facilities we currently lease. The camp board has voted to purchase 149 acres just south of Pella to build a permanent camp site. With our own site, we will be able to expand our camping ministry and include more summer camp opportunities for youth and families, year-round youth and adult retreats, and rental options for groups. This will be a big step for our ministry and we will need many kinds of support- prayer support, financial support, fundraising, and work groups. It does not matter what your gifts are, we can find a place for you! Please pray about how you can be a part of this life changing ministry and help impact lives for Christ!
